Love to Sing 2025
MK Acapella is Milton Keynes’ very own all male barbershop and acapella choir who are dedicated to singing in 4 part harmony and promoting this unique sound across the city and beyond. Founded in 1986 we have been entertaining crowds across MK for nearly 40 years. The aim of the club is to encourage the singing and enjoyment of singing in harmony in both Chorus and Quartet form.We are running a six week “Love to Sing” experience for men durring which we'll be learning a few songs, some with a Christmas flavour but we'll be singing them all in glorious four part A cappella harmony and it will sound fantastic. We're running this from Monday 6th October between 7.30pm to 9.00pm for six weeks until November 11th but we then plan to have a concert on Dec 6th when you can perform the song alongside the chorus of MK Acapella for your friends and family. So we'll have a few weeks before the concert if you want to take part and take advantage of some additional rehearsal sessions.
The course is aimed at any singer who wishes to try a new challenge; whether you're an experienced singer, someone who hasn't sung for a while or just a a keen beginner who wants to move beyond singing in the shower. The four parts we sing in mean there's a place for all voice types and ranges,, but the most important thing is just sign up and we'll help you find your voice. You'll be supported by our Musical DIrector and the men of MK Acapella and you will receive quality vocal coaching to help improve your voice and confidence throughout the Love to Sing experience.
We'd love to have you sing alongside us. The music resources will be supplied to help you throughout the course, but you don't need to be able to read music, as teach tracks are made available to help practice at home. This is a great opportunity to experience singing with an established choir.
