The last weekend of May is always a buy and fun one for us all, we all had an amazing weekend at BABS - British Association of Barbershop Singers convention in Bournemouth   We had a great time catching up with friends, soaking up the atmosphere, and hearing so many fantastic performances. The standard from all the choruses was truly inspiring—what a talented community to be part of!

We’re thrilled to share that we achieved our highest score ever this year! It might be a modest increase, but it’s progress we’re proud of, and it motivates us to keep reaching higher.



One of the biggest takeaways from the weekend is just how special this competition is. Being involved with such a supportive, passionate group of singers is a real privilege. Thank you to everyone who made it such a memorable experience—already looking forward to next year!

And speaking of next year, it will be a particularly special convention for us in Harrogate, as 2026 also marks our 40th anniversary! We can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with all our friends in harmony.
