Who can join?

Men of all ages are eligible to attend rehearsal evenings. We are a small friendly group who assure all newcomers a warm welcome.

Why join?

Come along and see for yourself. Singing is great fun, and performing in a chorus or a Quartet is hard to beat. It also increases the heart rate, aids breathing and helps you with posture and balance.

Will I be able to 'Sing Out' with you?

Before you can 'Sing Out' (that is sing in competition or at public events) you must pass an audition. Don't worry as you will be given every opportunity and assistance to pass. We want you to sing with us so we will make every effort to ensure you pass this simple procedure.

Do I have to be able to read music?

No, it's not necessary. We learn new songs with teach tracks (MP3 or CD) for each of the four voice parts, so you can hear exactly what you should be singing.

Will I get a uniform?

All uniform and music is provided free of charge.

How much does it cost?

Until you join it is free of charge. After that, there is a membership fee of £15 per month (concessions upon request). This covers the cost of rehearsals, music, uniform, a grant towards musical education at Harmony College and more...
